Increased automation

(tb) Deutsche Post plans to expand its business in online retail and medical and pharmaceutical logistics in Great Britain and Ireland. To this end, DHL Supply Chain , the group's supply chain management arm, is investing approximately £537 million (€630 million), primarily in automating sorting and warehousing. The company is focusing on the use of robots. In Great Britain, it intends to utilize new systems capable of unloading up to 700 cartons per hour.
