The Schwaneberger Verlag is internationally known as the publisher of MICHEL-Reference books. For over 100 years “der MICHEL“ Reliable collector information in the areas of philately, numismatics and more. Today the publishing program includes print titles such as reference works, special manuals and guides as well as the philatelic specialist magazine MICHEL-Rundschau, the MICHEL-Online, e-books, special software and accessories. Schwaneberger Verlag is calling for applications for the HugoMichel-Funding Prize 2023, which honors outstanding commitment to philatelic youth work. The 15th Hugo, endowed with €500Michel-The sponsorship award should once again go to an organization, school, youth facility or even a private individual who has made a special contribution to the promotion of young philatelic artists.
The Schwaneberger Verlag is organizing jazz concerts again in 2023 for a good cause.
The proceeds from the three benefit concerts MICHEL-Managing director Hans W. Hohenester on the tenor saxophone will benefit the Lichtblick Hasenbergl and the Munich Homeless Aid.
The HugoMichel-Funding prize will be awarded in 2021 for an ambitious funding project by the Swiss Postal Stationery Collectors Association in collaboration with the youth magazine 4-TEENS. As club president, Mr. Bruno Zeder receives the 14th Hugo prize worth €500.Michel-Funding prize awarded on behalf of the Swiss Postal Stationery Collectors Association (SGSSV). Schwaneberger Verlag was particularly impressed by the joint project it initiated with the youth magazine 4-TEENS among the many applications this year.
