Fluorescent stamps can be easily recognized with this inexpensive test lamp. Repairs light up differently when using different types of paper. Color deviations, which sometimes differ considerably in price, are often difficult to determine without comparison pieces. However, with the MICHEL-LUX lamp, it is easily possible to distinguish the different issues. Counterfeiting can be quite different under the lamp than real pieces, if different color or paper compositions have been used. Even rubbers are visible under the MICHEL-LUX lamp, if a rubber is used, which is composed differently than the original. However, stamps for comparison and some experience are essential.
